I don't think this has anything to do with the HTTP uploader... sounds more like system-level problems on the server you were uploading to. Have you had success trying again?

On another PC I was able to upload a show successfully, but when I tried to upload another show by clicking on the Share button I got a dialog box stating "Internet Archive Editor requires cookies. Are cookies turned off?". I have been overriding the default cookie handling to block third-party cookies in IE 6, so I stopped doing this in the Internet options control panel, restarted IE, and was able to get the file open dialog box when I click on the Share button.

I did the same on my main PC, but still couldn't get the file open dialog box, and didn't get the above message. I have shockwave installed on this PC but not the other, so I downloaded the latest version. I also disabled IE plug-ins that I wasn't using, and removed unknown browser helper objects. One of these actions fixed the problem on my main PC.
